ASHLAND – A vehicle was reported stolen Friday morning at an Ashland business.

Ashland Police Chief Joe Baudler said he was contacted by the owner of a Kia Sportage SUV on Friday morning at 10:41 a.m., who reported the vehicle had been stolen.

Baudler said the owner parked the car in the back of U-Stop at 502 Highway 6 at 7 a.m. Police believe the vehicle was stolen sometime between 7 a.m. and 9:30 a.m.

The vehicle is a gray/silver color and the license plate number is Nebraska UYP 824. If anyone has any information, contact the Ashland Police Department at 402-944-2222.
