All set

A crew from Pleskac & Pleskac Inc. of Lincoln sets the historic trusses from the Silver Street bridge at the campground Bob Luebbe is building at 13th and Adams streets in Ashland last Friday. The trusses were part of the bridge over Salt Creek that was built in 1936 by Central Bridge and Construction of Wahoo. In 1992, the bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places as one of only two Warren truss bridges still standing in the state. When the bridge was replaced last year Luebbe purchased the trusses, which will mark the exit for his campground, which is expected to be completed in spring 2020. (Staff Photo by Suzi Nelson)
