MEAD – The University of Nebraska Eastern Nebraska Research and Extension Center (ENREC) near Mead is hosting an open house on Wednesday, June 12 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.

This is an informal and informative opportunity to come see how ENREC is making a difference. The event is for both rural and urban audiences and those attending can see firsthand what is happing at ENREC and why it matters.

Activities start at the August N. Christenson Building, where tours of the new annex will be given. There will also be demonstrations, displays and refreshments.

Bus tours of ENREC campus will be given at 3:15 p.m. or 4:15 p.m.
