Picturing Our History

Early map of Ashland

An early map of Ashland shows that the streets had different names decades ago. For example, rather than Adams, Boyd, Clay, Dawes, Euclid and Furnas, the streets going north from Silver Street were named Oak, Elm, Vine, Grant and Pearl. (Map provided by Ashland Historical Society)
