GREENWOOD – The 90th annual meeting and pot luck dinner for the Sheffer Pioneer Cemetery Association was held Sunday, Sept. 9, at the cemetery picnic. There were 52 members in attendance.

President Wes Laughlin opened the meeting with everyone introducing their family members. Secretary Tim Laughlin read the minutes of the last meeting, which were approved. The same officers will be retained for 2019.

In recognition of this being the cemetery’s 90th anniversary, Mary Henderson provided inscribed notepads and pencils for everyone.

Glen Laughlin drew the winning numbers for the gift bags. Those winners were Ashley Solurro, Daniel Kurtz and Connie Laughlin. Meeting was adjourned for picture taking and visiting.
