Ambassador hosts governor

Nebraskans meet

Last week, Gov. Pete Ricketts and the Nebraska trade delegation were hosted by Dan Kritenbrink, the U.S. Ambassador to Vietnam, during their trade mission.  Kritenbrink is a native of Ashland and graduate of the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  On Sept. 4, Kritenbrink greeted the Nebraska delegation as they arrived at the airport in Hanoi late at night.  Last Thursday, he helped promote Nebraska during a business forum hosted by Ricketts in Hanoi.  On Friday, the delegation attended a reception at the Ambassador’s residence. The day’s agenda for the trade delegation also included a visit to the new deep-sea port of Hai Phong, a key entry point for commodities entering Vietnam, and tours of facilities owned by An Phat Company, an international company based in Vietnam that specializes in innovative bioplastics.
