Don't worry, I practiced this speech at home, it only took 45 minutes. Just kidding. Welcome friends, family, and teachers, without all of you, none of us would be here today. It has been a long and rocky road for our class, yet all of us have made it here. We started IN kindergarten as 15 frightened individuals, and we graduate today as a family of 15. Throughout the years we have gained and lost many, but throughout it all we have always remained a family, crying when we lost some, and accepting in the new with open arms. I am so thankful for each and every one of you.

For my first thank you, I would like to thank all of my classmates. You are my family and have made me the person I am today. I will never forget all of the memories we have had together like Alli's crazy sleepovers and listening to Amber sing the ABC's in the bathroom in kindergarten or Jamie getting sick all over Miss Russell's shoes. I also can't forget all of the things we have broken, Jamie breaking a laptop, getting locked into the locker room because of a broken door, and the locker room sink that we have managed to keep on the down low until today. I would say we have certainly made our impact on this school, but most importantly we have impacted each other. I will never forget any of you and these memories will stay with me forever.

Secondly, I would like to thank all of our teachers. It truly amazes me everyday how much each of you cares about us. I know that I can honestly say I would be nothing like the person I am today without all of you. Your guidance, support, and care have meant so much to me over the years. There is so much to say about each and every one of you, but I will try to keep it brief. First off, I would like to thank Miss Moser. You have been my rock this year and have been there for me in all of my highs and lows. It's been great to know that you were there to help me when I had a bad day, was overwhelmed with school, or needed help filling out a scholarship. Thank you. Secondly I would like to thank Mr. DeVries. I can say with some assurance that every person in our class is secretly terrified of you. I really appreciate all of the time you put in to help all of us before and after school. You were the person that inspired me to be a math teacher. Thank you. Finally, thank you to all of the teachers who have been there for us over the years, it means a lot.

Lastly, thank you to all of our friends and family. It has been each and every one of you who has supported us through the toughest times. I feel like I have said this a lot, but we really would not be here today without you. Mom and dad, thank you for putting up with my freak outs and always helping me when I needed it. I can't even count the number of times you calmed and supported me the night before a test or when I was up all night trying to finish up a project or a paper. All of you mean the world to me. Thank you.

Class of 2012, we are finally here. It feels like just yesterday that I was a scared and anxious little girl walking in to my first day of kindergarten, but I couldn't have asked for a better class, that soon became my family. It's been a long journey for us and I wish you all the best of luck in your futures.
