WAHOO – The top-ranked Wahoo Warriors improved to 7-0 with a 64-41 win over the Lincoln Lutheran Warriors at Wahoo High School on Dec. 18.

Wahoo led 13-4 after one quarter and never trailed while posting the 23-point win.

Wahoo shot 42 percent from the field, but connected on just 5-of-19 from behind the 3-point line.

The Warriors were outrebounded 34-29, but forced 20 Lincoln Lutheran turnovers while committing just six of their own.

Four players finished in double-figure scoring for the home team including junior Hallie Reeves who finished with 14 to go along with seven steals and three assists.

Senior Kyla Swanson added 13 points and led Wahoo on the boards with eight.

Senior Elly Larson came through with a season-high 13 points and pulled down five rebounds.

Junior sharpshooter Elle Glock struggled from behind the 3-point line, but still managed 11 points against Lutheran.

The next action for Wahoo will come against Lexington in the opening round of the Holiday Tournament at Wahoo High School on Dec. 28.
