NORTH BEND – The Raymond Central girls track and field team finished fourth as a team at the annual North Bend Invitational on April 23.

The girls team scored 61 points at the meet, including 26 in the field events where they were led by sophomore jumper Grace Mueller.

Mueller finished first in the long jump after soaring to a mark of 16-8.75. She also added six points in the triple jump after finishing third in the event with a mark of 33-10.5.

Freshman high jumper Kiley Elkins finished fourth at the meet after clearing 4-10 and junior Katelyn Komenda added a sixth place finish in the event.

Senior Morgan Potter added a fourth place finish in the triple jump (30-11.5).

Shot putter Lauren Prososki added a fifth place finish in the event after throwing 32-11.25 in North Bend.

A pair of first place finishes from junior Rylee Haecker powered the Mustangs on the track.

She posted a season best time of 2:26.09 in the 800-meter run and ran a season-best time of 5:44 in the mile to win the event.

In the final event on the track Haecker teamed with Mueller, Makenna Gehle and Amanda Gyhra to finish third in the mile relay with a time of 4:22, a season best.

Elkins (100-meter hurdles), Nelle Serrano (3200-meter run) and Gyhra (400-meter dash) also added medals for the Mustangs on the track.
